End of Year

A year has passed so quickly, goodness gracious me. Okay that sounded a tad too gay. But still, doesn't it feel like yesterday, when we were all celebrating the New Year's? Time is going by too damn quickly, life is too short.

It's the time again to reflect on what the year has brought me. I guess what really stands out the most would be, well i shall list it in sequence.

1. Having an interesting friendship at the start of the year
2. Turning 18
3. Continuing and completing my 1st year of degree
4. Getting good grades =) (which i worked hard for!!)
5. Meeting 2 great bunch of friends
6. Starting the second year of my degree
7. Giving personal tutoring
8. Doing an AD for Celcom (thanks daryl)
9. Again, respectable grades for my 3rd Semester results
10. Lastly, my girl =) (she knows who she is ;) )

I suppose, i could look back and smile about it though not many of those would strike most as an accomplishment. But they are to me so oh wells

Christmas

Whoa, it has been ages since i last blogged. I guessed my time has really been consumed with family matters such as SHPPING :). Christmas was just yesterday, what a wonderful wonderful Christmas it was. Presents and food galore. It was also a day of firsts, some i shall not mention as to not bore you all. But this one is too good to not be mentioned hAHa.

As i went to get a refill of coke, during a family dinner at my Uncle's house, i was pleasantly shocked to find a nice big huge drumstick on my plate upon return to the table. This was however, after many many slices of turkey and Urassian Chicken Curry. I thought it would be a walk in the park, eating the Turkey drumstick. But it was not to be. After one bite, i was thoroughly full. Moral of the story is, unless you're barbaric, do not attempt to eat a turkey drumstick ~ another pointless story by yours truly

On Christmas Eve, met up with Chui Nee, Ade, Karyn, Johan for a while to celebrate the dawning of Christmas. Pretty nice i'd have to say =). I'll let the pics do the talking, though not very many. Prison break is almost doen buffering so i'm lazy to type.

I didn't drink =)

Me, Chui nee =) & Karyn

Blue

Hey people. Haven't blogged in a couple days! haha. Been a lil busy with this and that and more of this and that. Finally got my room almost done, bought 2 of the 3 remaining pieces of furniture to complete my room's jigsaw. Bloodi hell, i didnt knoe buying furniture from Ikea could be this frustrating. Still one more piece to do =(.

The following day, headed to 1utama with Chui Nee and yea, had a great time. Wore the same colored shirt, which was by pure coincidence =).Watched I'm a Legend, which was a good movie. I ain't really good with thrillers and horror movies, so this was hitting the last of my brave nerves. I would have to disagree with those who said it was rubbish.

Check out my clown feet

Chui Nee and I =)

Anyways the Uni is being a prick. They've once again released my goddam results in batches! And most of my mates have gotten all four of their results, i've only gotten three. It all depends on whether my last subject meets the grade i want. If so, i'll be glad as hell! But so far so good for the other 3 i suppose

Glory!!!

Heya people! Haha as you guys can tell, i'm in abit of a happy mood right now. It was the night which caused Malaysia to be standstill. Yes ladies and gents, a standstill when it came to the male side of the population! 2 Big matches were played last night, Liverpool vs Man Utd and Arsenal vs Chelsea

Needless to say, Man Utd won. Hence me being in such a jovial mood. My mates and i headed to the viewing party at Sunway Lagoon and got passes to the Carlsberg hospitality area; exclusive to only a handful of the overall crowd. It was good fun though. Crappy part was a free flow of beer, and i'm not big on drinking.

Hmmmm

TEVEZZZ

The main attraction of this viewing party besides the games and overpriced foods were two Man Utd legends; Ray Wilkins and Lee Sharpe. I don't really know why there was so much hype about those two has beens. I mean, sure get hyped up over current players but come on, their careers are long gone and they even have bellies. So they walked around proudly signing autographs for fans who were mostly a decade older than me.

Ohh yea, and there is a chance my mates and i would be on sportscenter!! One of them got a post match interview and the 4 of us stood behind him. If they don't edit it, i might be seen screaming. Ohh my lord =)

Saturday Night Un-Live

Its 10pm on a Saturday night, and im bored out of my mind. I just have nothing to do right now, till the point where my online pool game got boring (its usually my salvaltion to cure boredom). The best part is i just readily turned invitations down earlier. And i'm obviously regretting it now

Oh wells. So since i'm online now i shall blog about my fun filled day. GOt up at 12, as usual. Somehow i just can't sleep past 12, no matter what time i go to bed. Its a lil screwed up. Ate and headed for the gym. Came home and had dinner. Productive innit?

Okay maybe for some shocking news, the Americans have actually agreed to some serious negotiations to cut their carbon emissions!!! Those pollutant ignorant buggers. Finally they've woken up to smell the coffee. The world might actually survive now. They are the biggest pollutants in the world, and that isn't just a literal meaning =).

The happenings

Did you know roughly 200,000 women this year are going to find out that they have breast cancer this year alone? Well i happened to read that whilst browsing http://www.cnn.com/2007/HEALTH/12/13/ep.genetic.test/index.html. Its pretty mad if you think about it and if this trend continues, it would take 5 years for a million women to get affected =O.

As for life in general, well been pretty dam busy hanging out (is that reason even valid?). Went over to tony Roma's last night, pretty good food. But its exactly the same as TGIF in my book. But at least now i can say i've been to Tony Roma's. And its all thanks to Chui Nee who mostly planned the night, and Yang as well. Thanks you both

Played a football match yesterday as well, lost 4-3. Explains all the sores on my body including my neck? But i did score a pretty crafty goal, owning the bastard child in the other team. Too bad buddy. Ohh and there was another guy who practically fought with my team, all 11 of us. Must be said he does have balls but he's obviously overwhelmed by stupidity as well.

Sushiiiii

We found an isolated pool in the hotel!

Over the Moon

Holidays holidays. Nothing more than bumming around, waking up late, sleeping even later and the mix of boredom and fun. Nothing beats that actually. U want holidays but when you do actually get it, it just somehow does not feel right; if anything the feeling of redundancy. The only thing to show for would be the changes made in my room. Besides that, perhaps a smoother golf swing and a bigger belly.

But it was a lovely day yesterday. Went to Pyramid with Chui Nee. Had a great time. Ate at our favourite sushi restaurant. Sat and talked for a while. The came the Golden Compass, a Nicole Kidman movie. Good movie just the ending was abit of a pisser. It just ended suddenly. wtf. 'Iorek Byrnison'!!!

Ohh and bought doughnuts..the new ones. Pretty damn good i must say and it tasted even better when shared with your special someone =). However, i don't think they should be called doughnuts; there isn't a hole in the middle! But it was pretty dam awesome anyways. Dunkin's is as good as gone. Poor fellas. Once the kings.

As for today, went for golf practice with Yang and Joey. Kinda gay, did the usual and had a putting competition at the end. In which Joey won that faggot. I swear he cheated. How could i get beaten by a noob? Ooops sorry joey! hahah.

Port Dickson

Sorry people, i haven't blogged for the past couple days. Was over at Port Dickson with some friends. Stayed there for a good three days and two nights, at a nice apartment resort stuffing 13 friends into 2 apartments (4 rooms). Yet somehow we survived.

So the first day we arrived there fairly easily at roughly 3 30. Checked in and bummed in the hotel till roughly dinnertime which we walked over to a nearby seafood. Food was good, though it was not enough. Thank god for my fried rice. Sat around in the room after that playing cards, drinking, eating, watching the tele, playing the ps2 and a very tender & sweet moment =). Some went out for supper and bought even more to eat.

The pic's kinda blury but oh wells

Second day, we picked up where we left off. Had 10 MINUTES of sleep whilst changing 4 different places. So technically thats 2.5 mins per area i slept. The bed, the couch, the floor, the other floor. But i managed to sleep for an hour after that so its all good. Swam, played a hybrid version of volleyball, had a nice walk on the beach with my girl =) and i cant even remember what else.

Chui Nee and I =)

And we came home today. All in all, an awesome trip! Something i would not trade for anything in the world. Money would simply not be enough to buy =)

And the cover for the new boyband (I swear i didnt knoe the pic was taken)

Pink Indian

Hello everyone. Hows it all hanging? haha. My gosh time really flies. Ive said this a million times before but yea its true! I mean half a month of holidays have passed and all i have to show for it are four newly painted walls and some new furniture.

Perhaps a cleaner and neater room? Nahh i've really been doing nothing this whole holidays and damn does it feel good. Ohh, i do have a much bigger belly and a rounder face if that counts. Haha.

Well today was my Indian brother's birthday, Gordo. The self proclaimed steve G. Happy birthday man. I did my very best to keep the surprise a surprise, though something had to let go. But come on, i kept it well enuf from u till u didnt expect it tonite ay? hahaha.

Anyways, if you're wonderin what a Pink Indian is, well it has no significance. Just something me and some1 =) came up with. The other would be a Blue Indian.

GO MANCHESTER UNITED...sorry random.

Sigh

Sometimes, when you want something real real bad it never turns out the way you want it too. This then leads to confusion, anxiety and perhaps anger. Its only a normal reaction, and seeing that my emotions are usually in check, this is one of those one off moments. Thoughts of giving up linger at the back of my mind yet i'll just put a smile to my face and get on with life. I guess thats the way it goes.

-sigh-

PAINTING

I'm sure everyone has seen something being painted, the walls of a house, its gates or fences or maybe even furniture. And everytime we walk by a painter hard at work, it would just register as just an ordinary routine thing that just requires hand movements.

Well i'm here to tell you all, ITS NOT EASY! haha. It really is not easy. Coat after coat, layer after layer, tin after tin and the time wasted waiting for it to dry and the washing of the brushes and pallets. I was on the brink of insanity.

My house actually looked like a scene from a war movie. So everytime friend's wanted to come over, i'd say "BRACE YOURSELVES FOR WORLD WAR III." Painting my modestly sized four walls was a real torturous workout

But its all worth it. It shall be complete soon.

OHH and Lisa thought the paint spots on my hand was powder *smacks on head*. Right Lisa? =p

good evening

Its the hols and there isnt reali much to blog about. Daily routines of waking up at 1pm, sleeping at 4am, excessive snacking and the extra long workouts in the gym to counter the insane amounts of junk food i consume.

HOWEVER =), the bumming around is great after a 'hard' and 'long' semester. And i'm finally re doing my junkyard(room) which is an absolute mess. It has been the storage of the family for a long time so now i'm gonna get it my way!

Ohh and Man Utd finally redeemed themselves by beating Sporting Lisbon 2-1 last night. Sporting Lisbon is a Portugese club for all you ladies out there, and gentlemen who really shouldconsider changing sports =).

Attractive? No? haha you be the judge

I was just thinking about my National Service duties in July 2009. Its really really depressing to think that i'll be spending two years of my life in a country i don't even know, let alone like. Time has flown by so quickly. I used to remember when i was 13, that NS is still so far away. Scary part is, i was meant to be in this year.

It's just really depressing and has completely fucked my mood up tonight.

=)

~ I've been awake for a while now,
You've got me feelin like a child now ,
Cause every time I see your bubbly face,
I get the tinglies in a silly place

It starts in my toes,
and I crinkle my nose,
Where ever it goes I always know,
That you make me smile please stay for a while now,
Just take your time,
Where ever you go~

Tears of the Sun

Having pointless days doing nothing is quite the norm during the hols rite?rite??? haha. Well that was the case today. Watched tv, slept, watched more tv came online and did everything i could which did not require the use of my FRAGILE brain.

So after dinner, i turned the tele on again just to channel surf. Came across a movie which had just started, Tears of the Sun. Sounded good enough so i decided to watch it and with Bruce Willis as the main dude was an added advantage.

Only when i sat through the show did i realise that i get quite emotional during such movies. It was about the struggle of many African countries against rebel forces; in this case Nigeria. I doubt it was a true story but heck, its as real as it can get.

It depicted what rebels do to villages, the village people and so on. It was horrifying, it really is. They would tie men up and burn them alive, cut the breasts of mothers so they could never feed their young and stuff.

Only at the end of the movie it hit me. The joy of surviving to them means alot more than the struggle of everyday life. And this movie is far from fiction, it happens everyday. In Sudan, Sierra Leone just to name a few

.
I urge you all to watch it =)

sigh

As if the week was not bad enough, with England losing and not qualifying for the Euro Championships, the squirmish at the field on friday which is unresolved (and he is gonna get decapitated), now Man Utd lose.

And they lose to friggin Bolton. The footballing gods aren't really on my side this week it has to be said. Its going to be a very very dull Sunday tomorrow.

Well, i guess i don't have much to say tonight. Glad that most of my friends have completed their exams, and some are just about to finish. This only has one meaning. Fun, more fun, FUN FUN FUN. Can't imagine going out every damn day. Plus my closest friends are coming back from their respective countries! =))

So the holidays have only just begun ...

Ohh and for those of you 'strong men' or those who think you are really brave, go to this site:

ENGLAND SADCASE

Its a day of mourning. England did not qualify for the EURO CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!. They are as big of a flop as any in the last decade to be honest. I mean, a team of superstars whose average WEEKLY INCOME... I REPEAT WEEKLY INCOME is at least 70,000 pounds. And they can't beat the Croats. Im a huge English fan and this is soo disappointing

To all my female friends, this is equivalent to Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp, Matt Damon & Tom Cruise not making it into the finals of the list of ten hottest guys! Make sense? Thats how bad the situation is. As a result, the manager of England got fired!SACKED. Gone GG

DEJECTION

The other day, a news flash on CNN really got my attention. It was a case of a Saudi woman, i believe 19 years old, who was raped. Now, in many countries, usually the rapists would be jailed or punished accordingly. This part is consistent, however, the woman too was jailed

Apparently, the judge ruled that it was unlawful that she had been 'mingling' with other men. As a result, she was punished for being a victim of rape. Consequently, she received lashes. The amount i believe was ridiculous

This is the 21st century and yet gender equality is far from the norm in many 'developed' and oil rich countries

Tuesday, November 20, 2007

Its the first day of the holidays! Ohh my, its surreal. It makes me wonder, what the hell have i been doing this year. Has me being a workaholic have something to do with this? =/

Well whenever i go to the gym, there would be this German techno song which plays. I have no idea what in god's name their rants are about. So i decided to get the translated version, and this is part of it

I know a bot,
her name is Anna, Anna is her name
And she can ban you, ban you so hard
She cleans up our channel
I want to tell you that I know a Bot

I know a bot,
her name is Anna, Anna is her name
And she can ban you, ban you so hard
She cleans up our channel
I want to tell you that I know a Bot

That always watches everyone in our channel
And sees that there is no trouble in here
And it can no way be taken over
And remember, I know this Bot

The bot that nobody can kick
And she can kick when she wants
She kicks all the spammers
Yeah, nothing can hit our Bot

Does that even make sense? haha.
Btw, me and Johnny have been rather close lately =O
The fairer wears darker
Ladeedew

Nahh, I was just sorting out my pics and came across this. IM NOT GAY, and even if i was, there aint nothing wrong with that....right??

ALL DONE

Its over. It finally is over. Sorry for not blogging for the past couple days. Been a little worked up in things unrelated to studies, like sleep. My last paper officially ended the exam period for me, and its the start of a beautiful 3 month break.

The world's at my feet now. Ohh my. I just sat in the exam hall smiling at the clock waiting for it to strike 5.05pm. Honestly, thats hell of a weird time to end an exam but what the heck. My teachers must have thought i've gone looney, smiling the whole way through.

And now back to active blogging =)

3 Down

Today, ICBM (International Currencies and Banking Markets, its a subject (=), done. haha. Words cannot describe how relieved i feel right now. 3 exams down, to me, by far, this was the scariest one attempted ever in my life. I'm a little reserved on how i did but oh wells.

1 more to go now, Market Analysis. The final push, the last leg of the track, the sprint to the finish. Wowoweewow. Just a couple more days seperates myself from the ultimate freedom. A break as long as one of my semesters!

But for all you guys who are still in (like myself) or going to start your exams, all the best!

post50

I really do not have much to blog about seeing that exams are just 2 days away. So i'll bore ya'll with my fun filled day.

Got up at 9 30, went to college and studied for about 2 hours, which was is way too little by any standards. Hit the gym a lilttle afterwards, and got a haircut! A HAIRCUT. My head looks lyk a chocolate balloon..with like some spikes at the top.

Im as round as a football. But oh wells, its for the exams so it'll grow back. Got back..did a couple chapters of icbm, then headed for futsal. Was really last minute, but good fun. Got a small bruise on my eye as a reminder. Though i love the pain when i get hit by a ball..its almost refreshing, a feeling like no other. WHAT NONSENSE =)

Well two days till exams, but its not so much fear anymore. Its jus the anxiety, the anxiety to get it over with so i can enjoy a 3 month friggin break.

Anyways i just uploaded this pic from my dad's new toy, his camera. Of my mum, sis and me during Hari Raya

Ohh and some random pic of my mum and i in the garden. haha

For you =)

This song is just so damn good. Call me gay if you wanna, i don't reali mind. haha

Bryan Adams - Everything I do, I do it for you

Look into my eyes - you will see
What you mean to me
Search your heart - search your soul
And when you find me there you'll search no more

Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for
You know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

Look into your heart - you will find
There's nothin' there to hide
Take me as I am - take my life
I would give it all - I would sacrifice

Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for I can't help it - there's nothin'
I want more
Ya know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

There's no love - like your love
And no other - could give more love
There's nowhere - unless you're there
All the time - all the way

Oh - you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it - there's nothin' I want more
I would fight for you - I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you - ya I'd die for you

Ya know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

An Inconvenient Truth

Ohh lord, how has time flown by. It only seems as if we crossed the New Year. And everything in between seems to be a blur. Ive almost completed two semesters this year, and my gosh has it been quick.

Exams next week is a stark reminder of the elation my peers and i felt last year, when we completed our first semester exams. By golly jee, one year ago. My handphone is almost a year old too =), though its age is obvious as its physical attributes show (i've dropped my phone 4 times in the past month i think)

But anyways, as my finals draws near, i can only hope that i do well, make my parents proud and of course, meet my targets. So if there is a chance for a small prayer, i'll be very grateful =)

Anyway i was watching 'An Inconvenient Truth' the other day. It's really really good, and i would recommend it to anyone who has a shred of concern for the environment. It's a basic documentary, with facts, figures and just some graphics to really spook the life outta you.

Apparently, if Greenland were to melt, or half of Greenland and half of the Antartica were to melt, sea levels would rise 40 feet =OO

HELP!

EXAMS ARE IN 8 DAYS!!!
AND I CAN'T STUDY

HELP!!!

The dates are the 12,13, 15 and 19th of November. The 15th would be the make or break day i suppose, the most challenging subject.

The guilt of not studying when exams are near is really, well i can't even describe it. I could study well for one day and the next would be... well would be like today.

Anyone got suggestions? How do i get rid of this 'not wanting to study' mode? =)

The Commentator's Curse

To those who religiously watch football games on the tele would have come across the saying ' The Commentator's Curse'. The match earlier was such an example. It was really really gay. Well played Man Utd, I guess a draw away from home is good enough but we were so close, oh so close =(.

Lady Luck was clearly on those Frenchies side. As soon as the commentator went ' Its fair to say Man Utd have wrapped this game up' something inside me just clicked and said Arsenal would score. And they did. The Commentator's Curse, a phenomenon i really can't explain myself. It just happens

Its like when us Asians say 'Touch wood', when we say something and hope the opposite doesn't happen. But Man Utd really deserved the win. Its gonna be a dull dull Sunday tomorrow. All you Arsenal fans who are proud of a lucky draw at the Emirates do stand up, cause there aren't going to be many of you.

12 days to go

Hello people. Hows the going? Its that time of the year ay? Where the holidays are soo damn near yet there are a couple of things in between, between now and those blissful times.

EXAMS..EXAMS EXAMSSSS! In exactly 12 days from today will be the start of my finals, which luckily for me lasts a week. Though, the hardest paper being on the 15th, right smack in the middle of it all. Sigh.

Well since i don't have much to blog about today, i shall just bore u guys with my day's activities. Started off with me forgetting to wake up for my 8am class, which meant that i had to attend the 1pm class. Darn. Had planned for a long day of study, which i proudly achieved =).

Played footie in the evening which i scored 3 brilliant goals past a 2 foot 4 inch keeper. Excellent.

Ohh and i drove by the car which i had a small accident with in March this year! Stupid prick.

The damage isn't so bad...though my dad's car was scratchless

Ironic?

Iraq, Afghanistan, North Korea, Iran. What do these countries have in common? Well for Afghanistan and Iraq in particular, its obvious that these two countries have had their 'cruel' regimes toppled by the mighty Americans. Fair enough.

But what are they fighting for? The freedom of speech, democracy of course. I'm sure there are many other reasons, most of them hidden or underlying motives, but nonetheless, democracy and the freedom of speech.

Shall we heap praise for them then? Ohh yes we shall, in fact, i personally believe that the world is a safer place, especially after getting rid of those very many terrorists..20 was it?

Well i shall not dwell on such terrifyingly large numbers. Basic fact is that we all seem to have a right of our own. But then, why is it when we do, say or have something which is of threat to a very certain country, they seem to intefere? Its as if, the freedom of speech is gone, well the freedom to do what we want is gone. Thats where the Northern Koreans and the Iranians come into play (if you all know what i mean)

~The Freedom of Speech~

Dogs

While playing footie earlier today, something hit me. It really just hit me straight in the face. No not the ball. But the fact that rich girls have reallly tiny dogs. The question is...why? Why is it that rich girls love these tiny dogs?

Would it not be that the richer the girl is, the more dough they would have to spend on larger, more secure dogs? Look at Paris. She's so freaking rich yet her dog's the size of Bush's brain, tiny. Havent they ever thought that if they got a bigger dog, they'd be more secure? Morons

BUT ANYWAYS assignments are finally over. Another semester, another round of assignments. Its sort of like a half sigh of relief cause there's still the finals. LOVELY. luckily i've started pounding the books already, or ill prob be a dead duck.

I've set myself a quota of at least 4 hours of studying a day, which may not be alot to many, but it is hell alot to me =). And i was soooo dam close today till i did something which i really really should not have; turned on the tv during my break. So in the end, 3.5 hours.

- Internation Currencies and Banking Markets: 15th November
- Market Analysis: 19th November

19th November- Early March '08 = FREEDOM!!!!!

But anyways, i shall blog about my lovely day today. Had class at 10am, so trotted along with my books, slippers and shorts to class. I looked so 'cincai' it was beyond belief. And my hair just did not help.

Met up for lunch with some friends which was nice =), but only after i got whipped in a race to 5 pool game. Played footie in the evening as IT DIDN'T RAIN (for two days...amazing!).

Ohh and i lost a total of 27 bucks in card games today. LOVELY.

Well it was just another ordinary day =)

Like father like son

George Bush Senior, the man behind the Gulf War in the early 90s. George Bush junior, the man behind the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. What do they have in common?

Well besides having eternally bad looks, its fair to say that they have done nothing for humanity, but destroyed thousands of lives (literally and figuratively), wasted billions of dollars which could be used to reprieve Africa of its problems 4 fold.

OHH COME ON! That president just asked for $42 billion in war funds. What is he thinking? Is this the guy Americans voted for instead of the half decent Al Gore who at least, to be fair, directed and produced a brilliant environmental documentary.

I mean world issues really do get to me, especially if they are about George Bush. But hey, at least he isn't wasting the $42 billion on a much needed brain cause that would be just brainless ;)
On a much lighter note =), the weather has been absolutely shit lately. So shit that ive only touched the football once this whole week and that is extremely depressing, seeing that footie is a much needed stress reliever. A more suttle way to vent my anger.

So please rain, do go away

Well here's a couple of pics i randomly received the other day. ENJOY =)

who will it be? OHH MY LORD im a nervous wreck now. Hamilton, Kimi or Alonso, the three fellows in the running for the F1 championship.

As big a Ferrari fan i am, i have a sneaky feeling Alonso is gonna pip the other two for the title. I don't know. What do y'all think? Apparently this is going to be the most watched race ever, and also the most anticipated. AHH CANT WAIT

come on kimi!!!!!!!!!!!

And the Brits lost last night, thank god for that. If they won the world cup again, i think world rugby will go into bankruptcy and turmoil. How did the Kiwis not get to the semis at least only god knows.

Enough said. Life has been pretty weird lately. Somehow i feel as if i've lost the plot for everything i once lived for. I don't flip my chairs and tables when Man Utd concedes a goal, and when they do score, i'm rather calm though i knoe im screaming inside. Though they won 4-1 last night. HAHA

I doubt i should even start with my studies.

Hello people, how's everyone doing? Good I do hope. What the hell is going on with the world, seriously. Will this place ever be rid of violence, of controversy, of anything that would make our lives less insecure? Suicide bombers, terrorists, George Bush

I'm sorry, these things reali stir me up at times, especially right now. Cant we wake up to fireworks rather than reports of bombings due to the return of an exilee? I'm sure some of you may know, a suicide bomb stole the lives of 136 Pakistanis. Can you imagine the numbers affected by the death of just one person, let alone 136?

ANYWAYS, haha, 3 assignments done, 1 more to go due this coming friday. That doesn't scream freedom though, exams are in less than 3 weeks time. Lovely. Could be said that everyone's in the 'ohh shit its the exams yet i cant do nothing about it' mode. Sucks really.

So therefore i've come a resolution of getting my head down and start to study for the finals. WISH ME LUCK =)

Ladeedewwwwdewww

"Even the smallest light shines in the darkness"

That's such a true quote don't you think?Got it from the movie 'The Seeker'. I would say it was pretty good, though the ending was a little bit of an anti climax.

ATIF you prick, haha, i gave you your moment of glory you irritating basketballer. You should try your hand at sports which involves ur feet Haha. and you don't knoe what 'ammendments' mean. haha

Aiyoh, exams are in just over three weeks from today. OHH MY LORD. And there are still 2 assignments to go, which will obviously take up more time. Anyone got some study suggestion tips?

As for today, went to Pyramid after college with some friends (ms hoodie and co =)). Watched a movie and had nice simple sandwiches for dinner. Nice night out though i have class at 8 tomorrow =/.

Random Pic Day

Okie, its 2 15am, i just edited a 34 page report and had to cut as much of it as possible to fit the 30 page quota. Somehow did cut abt 2 and a half pages but it wasn't enough.

Anyways it has been one hell of a day, details i shall spare all of you. It rained to i could'nt get to my car, of which the wiper on the drivers side dont work (lovely). So i stayed on the Mezzanine floor for about 3 hours, doing nothing, sitting talkin and working.

A negative shot

I've always wondered, how did the word Mezzanine come about? I mean, the first part, Mezza, doesn't even make sense and the second part, nine, is a numerical english word. So how did this brilliant person come up with the word Mezzanine? Anyone?

Don't you think this pic is artistic?

Ohh and i promised atif ill blog about him. Alrite, for all of you, Atif is this character in my college, funny guy, a good clown to hang out with but IRRITATING. haha. happy atif? there, you are one irritating fellow. I'll cya in lecture soon mate

Dun ask..i was chubby

As for right now, i shall go to bed within the next 10 mins. Got a long day ahead. So i'll end this post with two quotes from Chui Nee

"I'm Chui Nee who lives under the sea~"
"Mutu Lives under the sea (:"

Hehe, sorry Chui Nee, i had too =)

isabel

The title, as usual has no correlation to my post. Haha. Im back home! After 4 days in the motherland, the shithole of the world.

Great trip though, bought a pair of shoes, a couple of shirts and had some weird/cool encounters which i shall not talk about. Plus a lil adventure of travelling on an airplane by myself. It was real easy actually, though i must admit the jitters before hand. Was real fun

The flight from Singapore to KL is actually real real short, not lasting more than 40 minutes. So when the captain announced the descend even before the drinks were served (bear in midn they serve from back to front, and i towards the end of the plane), i burst out laughing. I mean, come on.

So here i am, back in KL, 3 more assignments due, less than 4 weeks to exams and i'm scared as hell. Help!

Thank You

Hey guys, i forgot to thank you all for the wishes, either online or in real life, the lovely text messages i received yesterday and also the cards you all gave me. Thanks so much! Means alot to me and also it shows how cool you guys are as friends.

So thank you again y'll =))

HARI RAYA

Today marked the end of the month of Ramadhan, or the end of the fasting month. Another year has gone by, another Hari Raya. Though i must say i thoroughly enjoyed my day of festivities.

Woke up at 7 this morning, put on my top, which i think is an Indian form of Baju Melayu. Not too sure though. And my plaing long black pants to complete the ensemble. Ohh yes, and a songkok. I WORE A SONGKOK, but i do that every year. haha

So went off to the mosque with my dad. Prayed and headed to my grandparents place. What a feast we had, prawn sambal, chicken curry, bread, fried chicken wings, some mutton dish and many more. For the first time in a month, i could actually eat during the day without commiting a sin! And i swear ive been eating like mad. My tummy is on expansion mode! AHHHH

Well i collected some duit raya today too. Hopefully the exchange rate strengthens to the singapore dollar. haha.

Since i haven't posted up a pic for ages, this is one of days gone by. A pic from my days in year 10/form 4.

Can you spot me? =)

I'm backk

Okie, its 2 45 in the afternoon, its raining and my whole family is knackered. I had roughly an hrs sleep+2 hrs in the car. LOVELY. haha. I'm bored skinless, meant to start my assignments bt lacking motivation and im binging on KINDER BUENO'S. THEY ONLI COST A DOLLAR!!!AND 7/11 IS RIGHT DOWNSTAIRS

Anyway my shoe shoppingwould have to wait a couple days cause of the raya and my laziness to go to the sports shopping capital of the world, Queensway Shopping Center. Almost a whole complex filled with at least 20 sport shops. Now that's what i call incredible 8-) =)(=

Will blog later!Wish me luck for my assignments

1st S'porean in Space

Mr Sheikh Muszaphar, first Malaysian in space. History has been made. A representative from a non super power nation has experienced WEIGHTLESSNESS!!! This is truly momentous, it really is. Now the stranglehold of the American and Russian space monkeys has been broken. Too bad he can't plant a flag on the Space Station. Though, i'm sure he could leave his mark in the toilet ;).

And how about his last few days of puasa? I swear, JAIS are a real bunch of hypocrites. Here they are catching those who arent fasting in shopping centres and so on. Soon enough, one of their 'HEROES' will be up in space having a meal on live television, with the whole nation clapping. 'MALAYSIA'S FIRST MEAL IN SPACE'

It's a wonder why Singapore doesn't have an astronaut though i can actually see why thats the case. I mean, who would firstly want an islander with such mentality in space? It would be a golbal catastrophe. Imagine if Lee Kuan Yew went to space, he'd probably try to buy land off the Moon. And he'd probably need his fix of kuey teow and pork noodles everyday, and with the in built 'kiasu' mentality, think that the normal tubed space food has been sabotaged by the Americans.

Thats why i think i should be Singapore's first astronaut. Not only was i raised OUTSIDE the country (thank god), i do not have any 'kiasu' patriotism and spirit to die for that god forsaken island piss drop of a nation.

What do you all think? Vote on my new poll =)

Horridle

Hey ladies and gents, been a long time since i last blogged about my day. So how've you all been doing?

I've noticed something, we all are somehow caught up with some stressful assignment, exam work or anything related. Everytime you start or someone starts a conversation with you, whether be it in real life or online, somein is bound to pop up. Sigh. Well for me, its getting ever so close to exams. And i've still got hell alot of assignments to do, with one due tomorrow. So that leaves 3 more. Did some studying today though (geek2 =) )

Raya is nearly here! Cant wait to be able to eat lunch in the open again, seeing that ive not been fasting continually =), i just could not wake up today and yesterday. BUT i'll keep plugging at it till this coming Saturday, where i'll be in my goddam piss drop of a country, Singapore.

It's always mixed emotions when i go back, cause even though ill get new things and so on, i knoe that eventually i'll have to serve two years of my life for a country i don't even knoe. Lovely.

So here's to a productive week, hopefully. Intend to get ALL my assignments done.

Horrid+ Horrible = Horridle - a new word which should be in Oxford soon enough =)

Horridle

There's only about a week and abit left till HARI RAYA! Which means the end of the fasting month and lunch once again. So far ive gone 17 days without a lunch, 4 days exception for various important reasons (laziness?) =).

Anyways nothing much has happened lately, its just been work, procrastinating and playing football. Oh and my lack of food and drink. Blogging would be much easier if i were a party fellow, which i'm clearly not. But then again, i'm sure i could have more of a life besides partying. Maybe its just the workload which stops me from having an out and out mad time. As soon as the exams are over, which i hope i do well in, all hell shall break looseeee. muahaha. But come to think of it, i enjoy the easy life better =). JAMAICA ANYONE?

MAN UTD 1-0 ROMA (but i didn't watch the match!for the first time in ages)

The magician ROOONEEYYYYYY

Aquarian Horoscope for Today:

If people around you react explosively to an explosive situation today, do not follow their example -- not matter how justified they may be. Screaming at someone who has been rude or inconsiderate isn't going to mitigate the stress, it will only increase it. Be mindful of your role in every conversation, and try to be a force for mutual respect, not power struggles. You will have to take the high road today. There will be another day for you to get down and dirty and get things off your chest.

1 MONTH

Today is truly a momentous day in the life of Faisal Hassan. I've officially blogged for 1 month, amazing isn't it? Thats 30 days, 720 hours, 43,200 minutes, 2,592,000 seconds. Of course thats an over exaggeration but hey, at least i proved all of you wrong! I was given 2 weeks, 3 weeks but hey, 4 weeks and still boleh tahan! Its lyk the 'Malaysia Boleh' spirit.

Time for celebrations! (I took this with my OLD OLD phone..not bad ay?)

Things I've learnt (updated):

1. That it is hell not as easy as i first thought it would be

2. How to screw around with HTML codes

3. Besides fizzle and fais, my new nickname is MUTU =)

4. And me in a dress is considered scarrier than a horny ghost

5. My ENGLAND has improved

Anyways i know i've said this a million times, but this weekend has not helped. Falling ill on Sunday has hampered my QUEST to continue doing my assignments. And i haven't fasted for 4 straight days, not that I really care in terms of sins, but i just feel bad cause i was committed to it. Hopefully i'm well enough tommorow to start again.

1 MONTH 12 DAYS TO EXAMS!!

=)(=

Saturday, 29th September 2007

Set my alarm at 10 15 but it snoozed on till 10 40. I foresee many 'Why am i not surprised' responses when you guys read this. haha. But somehow i got ready by 11, stoned as hell but with a cautious sense of enthusiasm. Picked Chui Nee up and headed for the ancient tombs of Sunway. Shopped around and bought presents, ate SUSHI , walked and talked, tried sunglasses which were almost as big as our heads and had iced lemon tea. =))

Got home in the evening and had to send my wonderful lovely sister to Bangsar. Had a super awesome pedas mee goreng for dinner and MAN UTD just beat Birmingham 1-0! Yeahhhh. And the guilt of assignments has just set in. Ohh no!4 assignments due within the next couple of weeks. 8th,17&18th, 26 October with my finals within a couple of weeks of that. How la?haha.

Another awesome joke:

What do you call a man who doesn't use contraceptives?

Friendships

Well, I'm starting this real irritating habit of blogging once every two days. I'm trying to cut it though, so hopefully i do. haha.

Anyways had a pretty decent friday, which ended with Daryl's bday party at his bro's house in Damansara Damai. First thing's first, i had a good time hanging out with my lepak kakis. Food was the name of the game, and bumming around was just a great way to end the week. Came back to Subang and grabbed a drink with Gordo till roughly 1 30.

For all my lepak kakis, i do owe everyone of you an apology. So for those of you dimwits =) who actually take the liberty to read my blog, here it goes. haha. To Shiresh, Aaron, Tatt, Joe, Rafique, Shan and Giresh, tonight has reminded me of how much i miss you guys. I'm real sorry and ill promise to try and hang out more once my work settles. To Daryl, thanks for everything and yea, will ring you up for pool. haha. And finally to SUTU, all the best man! had a great talk with you mate.

Here's a joke courtesy of Giresh:

What's the difference between a black man and a couch?

The Couch can support the family =)

I honestly do not know where he gets these from. haha

A Titleless Post

As problems pile up, sorrows drown you in tears and when there is no hope, no light at the end of the tunnel, take a step back from reality and figure out what really is important to yourself. We all have our problems, hopefully this is a lil reminder that you're not alone =).

Anyways life has been a living hell lately, work work, problems then more work then problems relating to work.Sigh.However, we all should still try and live life. Easier said then done of course, but what the heck, Step back remember?

Well with all this hoo haa surrounding that sexual abuse case, its obvious that this world is just not safe anymore. And thats just a drop in the ocean honestly. Terrorism, kidnappings, mass murders paints a broader picture, a picture which reminds us all that we should always be weary and cautious of our surroundings. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES guys, especially my lady friends!

Only one reason why these lyrics are here =)

"The way I lost my heart to you
that day
but if destiny decided I should look the other way
then the world would never know
the greatest story ever told"

Some snaps from Time's Square:

Chel's all at Sea

What a wonderful night of footie. Who would have thought, Carlos Tevez scores his first goal for Man Utd against the blues, who i must say are really in the blues. Man Utd played to almost their full potential in my opinion, ransacking the Chelski players. To be honest, i really felt bad for them.

Ever since i started blogging, I've always wondered why there are such a high ratio of girls to guys. I mean, i have 4 guys on my links and the rest are females. It's really a wonder why girls blog more and more often than guys. Maybe girls were born with like an extra chromosome; the blogging chromosome. Or maybe girls are more comfortable sharing their daily activities, thoughts and so on with many others. Perhaps guys confide in girls so they don't really bother expressing how they feel. Any ideas guys?

Anyway here are some pictures from genting:

Goof face

SPACE SHOTTTTTT

Why is it that when you are nice and willing enough to help, many take advantage of you? Shouldn't it be if u do good, u get good in return? Maybe being nice isn't an option. Sigh

Saturday, September 22, 2007

hey guys! It's been 4 days since i last blogged.Darn, been real busy. Alot of great things has happened these past couple days, from a genting trip with my college friends, bumming around whilst fasting and a nice day out at Time's Square today.

Ill start with the Genting Trip on Wednesday. It was only one night, sadly. But it was great fun i must say, spending quality time with my college mates. We shared two rooms in the First World Hotel, which to me was alright. The guests there were not though, uncivilised China man who spat in the hotel lobby bins. Anyway, the highlight of my trip was undoubtedly conquering the SPACE SHOT. 186 feet of pure fear. I've got a video which ill post up when i get it, along with the pics.

Today, i woke up at 1.05 to a host of missed calls. Apparently, some of my mates were having a small birthday thing for Lisa. And as usual, i had the shortest time to make a decision. So after some persuasion, i gave in and went along to Time's Square. Train and monorail rides, lovely company, great food, and GIDDYFYING rides is basically how i wud sum it up =)

Ill get all the pics and videos ASAP. As for now, just bear with words and this one pic courtesy of Karyn. haha. I know my days are not as interesting as most so hold on.

A joke for you all (courtesy of Chong):

Q.What the difference between a porcupine and a bus full of liverpool fans?

A Parting of Ways

This is YANG'S post, not mine. He was bored and wanted to have a go at blogging. Here's what he came up with:

I guess all you lads have heard it.

Jose Mourinho has left. The Premiership is now officially boring.

I suppose it had to end sooner or later, what with the rich Russians and busybody Israelis, but it'll be hard to get used to post match comments that are NOT inflammatory.

All good things come to an end. It's like, a law of nature. Even that prick Newton couldn't predict THIS. I mean, think about it,
1. Pitt and Aniston - HISTORY
2. Clinton and Lewinsky - HISTORY
3. Borat and Fat Dude who does hand party over Pam - HISTORY

Good things are like Thai airplanes : flying high at the beginning, gets turbulent after a while , and goes up in flames in the end. Abit like Lost actually.

Even in movies like Gladiator, Braveheart, South Park the Movies, good things come to an end.

William Wallace( Mel Gibson) dies, Maximus(Russel Crowe) is killed by Poofter(Joaquin Phoenix) ( God how i hate this f**ker, how he got to play Johnny Cash, i'll never know), and Satan and Saddam are broken up over a conflict involving Canada.

Sad. I always did fancy Satan to live happily ever after.

6/30

Its been 6 days of fasting now. As the countdown to the end of the holy month continues, my glorified days are filled with blurred memories and a weakened will to complete ANY of my assignments. Which isn't good.

I was doing some thinking earlier today(yes i do think once in a while), and i came to a conclusion that marriages do not last nowadays. Yes ladies and gents, it took me this long. Well what hit me first was an old couple, say in their late 60s walking around the park hand in hand, a truly romantic sight. As i change direction, i see a mother, presumably whose husband is out having an after-work drink with his 'kakis', push her daughter on a swing and keeping a watchful eye on her younger son peddling on his little black and blue tricycle enthusiastically. Then, it was a eureka moment. It hit me like how a young child first discovers candy

And my car wiper doesn't work. This is ridiculous. My car which is an old beat up volvo who's 2/3 or 66% my age, was built with the promise of unparalleled safety. Now the freaking wiper doesn't work. And my dad's, a late 2005 Volvo model, which should be bloody more reliable, has its signals in disarray. Therefore, Volvo's aren't so safe after all!

OHH TRY OUT MY NEW POLL. ITS REALLY NONSENSICAL BUT OH WELLS. haha

Adman Hitmon

I was watching the Discovery Channel the other day, a documentary debating on whether Hitler actually did commit suicide or was he kidnapped by the Russians. It got me thinking, what if Malaysia had our very own Hitler. What would he look like?Who could he possibly hate?

Well i painted a pictrue of Malaysia's Hitler and this is what i came up with. hehe. A man of relative short stature, say 5 feet 6 with a belly not caused by beer, but by kuih muih from those road side stalls. He'd probably have a full blown beard and moustache instead of a two finger crap stain above his upper lip.

This Hitler would probably have a Satria Neo as his official car and instead of killing jews, it might just well be Mongolians ;). And to exterminate them, he'll send them to kampungs instead of concentration camps. His name, ADMAN HITMON (LAME!) =)

;)

Lovely

Blogging is the act of writing in one's blog. To blog something is to write about something in one's blog. This usually involves linking to something the author finds interesting on the internet.

To be honest, i really don't have much to blog. Nothing has happened over the past couple of days besides me fasting. Well proudly, i've fasted 3 full days though it really hasn't been easy. It's actually pretty hellish to think you wudn't be having lunch for one month, amongst other things. And as a result, i've slept roughly 14 hours each day coz there is nothing to do.

My holidays have begun. One week of supposed bliss. Though im pretty sure in the back of my mind, i'd be thinking of my work! Ohh and im off to Genting for one night with some college mates. woo hoo

Tonight has been great for my favorite sports teams:

EVERTON 0-1 MAN UTD

NEW ZEALAND 108- 13 PORTUGAL

Ferrari on pole and second on the grid

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!! =)

Shakeeeeey

heluuu. Its a personal mystery, why i always have to start each post with a different greeting. haha

4 earthquakes hit Indonesia in the past 24 hours, on the first day of Ramadhan. Isn't it abit ironic that the most populous Muslim nation in the world got hit so badly on the first day of the holiest month in the Muslim calender? I can almost bet Nostradamus had predicted this in one of his quartrains.

So today started of really cool, got to class on the 6th floor early and all happy go lucky. About 5 minutes later Isac asks 'do you feel something?'. At first i didnt, but then i realised, 'HOLY SHIT, ITS THE TREMORS FROM SUMATRA!' Now, we are taught from young that in any case of an emergency, never use the lift, BUT, all 10/11 of us crammed into the wobbly lift.Smart.

This was me today

As for the rest of the day, well it was torture. First day of fasting, had a HUGE 'before-fasting' meal, but being typical Faisal, i was hungry within an hour or so. My exam was not soo good, and uhmm, yea had a four hour nap in the afternoon to combat the extreme fatigue hunger and thirst. And of course, i played football =)

CNY '06 (memories =))

"Are you getting social claustrophobia? Lately, you might be feeling like you keep seeing the same people in the same place -- and you need to mix it up a bit! Dig out your phone book and relocated some friends you've let fizzle away"

Thats soo cool!its not only true, but my nickname is on the description.muahaha.Im just bored =)
